The kitchen at the Stag & Huntsman prides itself on the quality of its home made, fresh, local and seasonal produce. Wherever possible the raw ingredients are sourced locally and the Hambleden Estate supplies much of its game, when in season, to the Chef direct.

There is one menu throughout the Inn. So, whether you want to eat more formally in the Dining Room or take a corner table in the ‘snug’ you will experience the same level of quality food and service. Click here for a sample menu.

During the summer the barbecue is open in the walled garden.

There are three different drinking areas - the Snug, the Lounge and the Public Bar - and each one retains a very traditional pub feel enabling its customers to relax and socialise in a very comfortable environment, all serving well-conditioned cask ales and a large selection of wines and spirits.

The Stag & Huntsman won the 2003 Area Pub of the Year CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) award. Andy Stokes prides himself on the condition of the beers.
